Generative design is a design method in which rules and algorithms programming can be used to produce patterns or illustrations among other things. This technique allows to produce endless, unique and unrepeatable designs using variable parameters and randomness, and to select the best suited.
The output of generative design can be used in a variety of applications. I could use it for your project to produce illustrations for:
• print,
• web,
• surface design (textile or other materials),
• promotional objects,
• data visualization,
… or even to generate models for 3D prototyping.
I work with Processing, a programming language that was initially developed for learning how to code within the context of visual arts. I also work with p5.js, a JavaScript Library that makes it easy to use Processing in the context of web development and interact with other html5 elements.
My engineering background, my work experience in software development combined with my creative skills are the perfect amalgam to code and generate designs for your project.
