For my own website, I went through the entire process involved in the creation of a website: from branding, to web design and web development, including implementation, content integration and deployment.
I created my own logo and an animation using the Processing JavaScript library for the website’s front page header (design and coding). I also created a custom background for some of the pages (repeat pattern incorporating the logo shapes).
For the actual website, I chose a single-page layout with additional portfolio pages for more detailed content. I developed a custom WordPress theme using the underscores starter theme (_s) by Automattic.
